It's 2018 and I'm still designing book print jackets for 18thWall Publications. I design the look by using an illustrators artwork commissioned for the book. I choose matching fonts, backgrounds and textures to physically cover the book's printed jacket and an ebook image. I put the front and backcover together with the spine, and make sure it has the right printing and digital specs for printing and for online release. My latest one is on my book page. I'm hoping to build more clients through Upwork in the coming months. One of which I have just completed and will be putting on my page as soon as the client is happy with the design. It's a book on technology and parenting so it is different to the usual fantasy look I follow while working with 18thWall. My favourite print book jacket design I have done is the After Avalon, mainly because the illustrators artwork is beautiful and I liked the back cover section that I create in the style of a see-through net with a blue pattern, just like the netting on the artwork and the blue pattern of the teacup. This is illustrator is called Barbara Sobczynska and I will link her Deviant Art page out of complete respect for good illustration. https://www.deviantart.com/barbarasobczynska/gallery/
